K275 Rules of Engagement

1. Respect
  • All players will respect all other players
  • Use of derogatory or discriminatory language is unacceptable
2. Compliance

2.1 Clans

  • Clans must state that they follow K275 ROE and IKFPA in their clan description
  • Clans must have membership set to “Request only or Private”
  • Clans must identify a Diplomat in their description. A clan leader may also be the diplomat if so stated in the description

2.2 Players

  • All players without a clan and who are not listed as outlaws are granted protections under ROE
  • All players in an ROE compliant clan and who are not listed as an outlaw are granted protections under ROE
3. Palace
  • The King, Hand of the King, and Queen retain absolute authority in their hierarchy in the kingdom, except where stated otherwise in this ROE
  • Centurion – Commander of the Royal Guard
  • Chancellor – Master of Diplomacy
  • Treasurer – Master of Finances and Taxes
  • Archon – Supreme Justice for the Royal Court
  • Quaestor – Master of Resources
  • Tribune – Rotating between a Royal Guard Officer and a Judge
  • Legate – Rotating between a Royal Guard Officer and a Judge
4. Royal Guard

4.1 Authority

  • The Officers of the Royal Guard are authorized to act on request of the Royal Court, the Treasurer, or through acts for the Kingdom defined below
  • Officers attacks are legal and valid and retaliation is not allowed
  • Except for tax collection, Officers are allowed to attack without warning
  • Officers may not attack player’s cities except in circumstances specifically allowed in this ROE or by the Royal Court

4.2 Reclaiming Resources

  • Officers may assist with reclaiming stolen resource tiles. The Royal Guard may remove players from resource tiles, but cannot help with recovery of lost resources after an attack. For assistance with recovering losses, please see section 5.2 on disputes
  • Stolen resource tiles are defined as properly registered DM/WS that have been occupied by another player and resources in clan territory occupied by a member of another clan
  • Compensation for an attack by the Royal Guard is at the discretion of the attacking officer

4.3 Requesting Removal from a Resource Tile

  • Players may request removal of an illegal occupant from a resource tile by the Royal Guard
  • Players must post in the “K275 ROYAL GUARD” chat to request removal and must provide (1) the location of the resource (2) their registration post from the “K275 DM” or “K275 WS” chat, if applicable, and (3) the exact request
5. Royal Court

5.1 Authority

  • The Judges of the Royal Court will judge cases properly brought before the court
  • Judges rulings are final and must be complied with within 24 hours
  • Judges will not approve outlaw status, themselves

5.2 Dispute Procedure

  • A victim of a violation will message the accused and declare the violation and request compensation be made for the violation
  • If an agreement is not reached within 24 hours, the victim will notify their clan leader or diplomat
  • The clan leader or diplomat will reach out to the other clan leader or diplomat to come to an agreement regarding the violation
  • If an agreement is not reached between clans within 24 hours, the clan leader or diplomat must report (1) the attack report, (2) a brief description of the incident, and (3) the exact request for compensation, including how much and of what resources or a request for retaliation to the Royal Court
  • In the case of a player without a clan, they may act as their own leader/diplomat

5.3 Court Procedure

  • All cases brought before the court must be posted in “K275 DISPUTES”
  • All cases brought by anyone other than a clan leader or diplomat will be ignored
  • An available judge will post that they are taking your case and then all further deliberations will be made in private messages
  • Judges will notify the defending clans leader or diplomat that they are handling the case and allow up to 12 hours to respond
  • In the case of a player without a clan, they may act as their own leader/diplomat

5.4 Verdicts

  • Verdicts will be posted by the Judge in the “K275 ROYAL COURT” chat
  • Verdicts are binding. Defending players and clans must abide by the verdict within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed upon by the players
6. Resources

6.1 General

  • All resources located within a clan’s territory border (including DM and WS) belong to that clan and are strictly prohibited from gathering except by members of that clan
  • Event objects such as snowmen or pumpkins on clan territory belong to that clan and are strictly prohibited from being attacked by members not of that clan
  • Attacking resource tiles is prohibited at all times unless it is to remove a player from a resource tile in a clan’s territory, or one built by a player
  • Player created resources belong to the player that created them and shall not be occupied unless given express permission by the creating player

6.2 Dragon Mounds (DM) and Wellspring Ruins (WS)

  • Players may register one DM and one WS per 24h game day starting at reset
  • Level 10 DM and WS are only available for registration by players of 1,000,000 might or more.
  • Might restrictions do not apply to DM/WS in clan territory.
  • Players are required to register their DM or WS BEFORE marching to it
  • Players register a DM in the “K275 DM” chat and a WS in the “K275 WS” chat using only the y-coordinate (Example: y374)
  • Occupation must occur within 10 minutes or the registration is voided
  • Players cannot register a DM or WS for or give their registration to another player
  • If a player breaks these rules they can be banned from registration at the discretion of the Centurion and potentially declared outlaw
  • Only the following may clear an illegally occupied DM/WS: The legal registrant themselves, their leader/superiors, The Royal Guard.
  • For a removal to occur legally, a copy of the registration and an intent to clear must be posted in K275 ROYAL GUARD by the Leader, Superior, or Registrant who is clearing the resource.
  • The Royal Guard may remove players for any illegal activity.
  • Players under 250,000 might MUST be sent a 5 minute warning prior to being attacked, unless they are repeat offenders. If they leave during this warning period, no penalties will be applied. – Anyone who has previously occupied a DM/WS illegally is a repeat offender
7. Taxes

7.1 Tax Collection

  • Clan leaders and diplomats are responsible for ensuring their clan members pay taxes
  • The Treasurer may authorize the Royal Guard to collect taxes from a player in violation of section (2) Tax Collection Table
  • The Royal Guard will notify a player and clan diplomat (or leader if a diplomat is not assigned) 1 hour before they intend to collect taxes with an attack on the player’s city
  • Compensation for resources and troops lost in the tax collection is at the discretion of the Royal Guard and is not a requirement
  • Any player of the kingdom can scout a city to confirm their current gold ingots. If above the maximum level, any player may attack but must return all resources taken if requested (taxes are paid by the player that was attacked). Compensation for troops lost is not required

7.2 Tax Collection Table

  • City level 1-19 – Maximum ingots 1,600
  • City level 20-29 – Maximum ingots 25,000
  • City level 30-39 – Maximum ingots 55,000
  • City level 40-45 – Maximum ingots 90,000
8. War and Peace

8.1 War Time

  • War time is defined as the first two days of the Clash for the Throne (CoT) event
  • Players under 50,000 might cannot be attacked unless both players are under 50,000 might
  • Players can only attack players who have at least 50% of their might
  • Players can attack any person who attacks them 1 time for each time they are attacked
  • Portals may be attacked if they are the source of an attack, regardless of their original intent or location
  • Clan Marches (using reinforcements from other players in a single attack) are not allowed
  • Players will not attack or scout any clan buildings, doing so will result in immediate outlaw status

8.2 Peace Time

  • Peace time is all times outside of the first two days of CoT
  • Players will not attack other players or portals unless the player is an outlaw
  • Players will not attack or scout any clan buildings, doing so will result in immediate outlaw status
9. Inter Kingdom Fair Play Agreement (IKFPA)
  • Players in other kingdoms are not subject to follow this ROE
  • When interacting with other kingdoms, the following rules must be followed. In places where these rules contradict those in this ROE, the following will take precedence
  • Attacks on players in other kingdoms are allowed at any time
  • Attacks on any clan buildings, including forts are forbidden and will result in outlaw status
  • Attacks on memorial portals are forbidden
  • Attacks on players under 100k might are forbidden
  • Attacks on resource tiles in other kingdoms are forbidden, except in the following events: Clash of Kingdoms, Thirst for Battle, Clash for the Throne, Wargames, Silver Rush, Gold Rush, War Tools, Lava Trials
  • Compensation for illegal attacks made in other kingdoms must be agreed upon within 48 hours
10. Portals
  • Portals created for an event or inside of a clan’s territory cannot be attacked unless they are the source of an attack on another player, clan resource, or used for theft of an event object (snowman, pumpkin, etc.). The RG may assist with closing a hostile portal if requested.
  • Event portals must be closed within 1 hour of the event ending (this does not mean when the Epic is defeated, but when the game event is entirely over)
  • Memorial portals may be placed at the request of a clan leader around a clan’s territory in remembrance of someone lost. The request may be made in the “K275 Diplomats” chat and approved by any member of the Palace
11. Compensation

11.1 Compensation Table

  • Hero: 1,500
  • Captains: 1000 each
  • Ranged or Melee Guardsmen/Specialist and Flying Specialist: Number x level x 40
  • Mounted Guardsman/Specialist: Number x level x 80
  • Spy/Scout: Number x level x 200
  • Flying Guardsman/Specialist: Number x level x 800
  • Catapults: Number x level x 400
  • Monsters III: Number x 1000
  • Monsters IV: Number x 2000
  • Monsters V: Number x 3500
  • Monsters VI: Number x 5000
  • Monsters VII: Number x 7000
  • Monsters I and II: Number x 8500
  • Mercenary Guardsmen: Number x level x 150
  • Mercenary Monsters: Number x level x 400
  • City Walls: Number x level x 200
  • Portal: 2,000,000
  • Silver: 1 for 1
  • Wood/Stone/Iron: Number / 5 OR paid back in resources
  • Gold: Number x 1000
  • Tar: Number x 500

11.2 Retaliation

  • Players are allowed to retaliate in lieu of requesting compensation
  • Only one retaliation attack is allowed
  • No clan marches for retaliation attacks
  • Players can request a clan member to perform the attack if they are unable to

11.3 Caravan Taxes

  • Taxes on caravans due to an illegal act must be paid by the offending player
12. Outlaws
  • Failure to follow any part of this ROE may result in the assignment of Outlaw status at the discretion of the palace
  • Outlaws can only be decreed by the King, the Hand of the King, the Queen, or the Archon
  • Outlaws will be posted in the “K275 OUTLAWS” chat
  • Outlaws are NOT protected by the ROE
  • Any clan harboring an outlaw as a member will be declared an outlaw clan if not removed within 24 hours from their status being decreed
  • Any clan accepting an outlaw member into their clan will be declared an outlaw clan after 24 hours have past since acceptance
  • Outlaw status can be redacted when restitutions are paid
  • Outlaws have the right to appeal their status individually to the court one time
13. Documentation

13.1 Responsibilities

  • The Royal Guard will keep documentation of all attacks made and the reasons why the attacks were made
  • The Royal Court will keep documentation of all cases adjudicated, including reports and verdicts
  • The Quaestor will keep documentation of all DM and WS registration and occupation

13.2 Reports

  • There will be a weekly report of all documentation provided in the “K275 REPORTS” summarizing the actions of the kingdom from each group
14. Clan Structure
  • It is suggested for clan leaders to establish the following chat groups and utilize them for effective communication amongst all clan members
  • Announcements – all announcements will also be posted here for quick reference
  • Rules – posting clan rules and kingdom rules for educational purposes
  • Questions – where clan members can ask questions and get answers
15. Changes
  • No player has full authority to change this ROE, not even the King
  • All proposed changes will be brought to the ROE Committee. If approved by a majority vote, they will then be presented to the Palace for discussion and a second vote. If the Palace also passes the proposal with a majority, it will move forward as an official amendment to the ROE.
  • In the case of a tie amongst palace members, the King’s vote will be the deciding vote
16. Banned Characters
  • The hero Faron is banned. If any player uses Faron in a senate vote, they are immediately outlawed for 1 month. This status is effective immediately and can NOT be undone by anyone, up to and including the King.
